In this section of the website, which we have called the Bibliotheca Aquilia, we present digital versions of a number of texts. They cover different topics in history and linguistics. The texts in the Bibliotheca Aquilia aim to be faithful reproductions of historical books, articles, and documents. Hence, apart from obvious typographical mistakes, nothing is changed in the texts’ appearance. Page breaks are marked by [p. #].

While all texts in the Bibliotheca Aquilia are in the public domain, their digital versions are covered by copyright law. They are free to use for personal, educational, and research purposes. However, if you would like to use them for commercial purposes, previous permission from Aquilia is required. Please contact us for more information.
